If you are a Veteran, a spouse of a veteran or a surviving spouse of a veteran over 65 and your assets are less than $130,000 (approximately) which excludes home (if you live in it), vehicles & personal property and you are a veteran who was honorably discharged, you may qualify for up to 20 hours per week in personal assistant/companion/homemaker through the VA Aid & Attendance Benefit Program.
