Franklin Terrace

Not handicap accessible but we saw a number of handicap people sitting in the lobby in wheelchairs both motorized and manual. There was only 1 working small elevator which is not in the best condition. The plus of this place The dining room looks and feels like your in a restaurant. The care team is very friendly and medically knowledgeable. The head of care team knew my love one condition from the medicine he's on. This was done without giving his history (impressive for an independent/assistant living facility) The lobby looks like your walking in a hotel The building was free of odor. (Unlike three other facilities I visited) Not only did I hear members of care team but I also heard two waitress address the people by name. This gave me the impression that the community at Franklin terrace apartment is not just there but they matter. On site clinic to see a doctor (impressive for assisted living ). Nice small computer/TV room (nobody was in this room though 😓) chairs look like office chairs not lounging chairs

If you move here, be ready to NOT be able to get the providers you choose, like your own Visiting Physician and skilled home health services. They deprive you of your right to choose. If you have been receiving services from your trusted people, they will NOT allow that in here. They will send you people who they ONLY want. So PREJUDICE!!!
