I have had a great experience with First Light Home Care. Would definitely recommend. It has helped us greatly with my dad who is paralyzed. The aide has been very polite and sweet to my father, even when he is not so sweet! She has done everything with a smile, always on time. Was worried about using a service but it has been a great experience. Beth has been so helpful and makes it a point to call and check on us and make sure everything is up to our expectations. It is wonderful to be able to leave and know he is in good hands.

First Light Home Care of Northern Kentucky is a wonderful provider of quality senior and disability care. After my 90 year old Aunt suffered a stroke in May 2015 she could no longer take care of herself. I found an ad in a Senior Care Magazine and contracted with Beth Steel, owner of First Light Home Care in our area to assist with the changing day to day, 'new normal' of living post-stroke, experienced by my Aunt. My Aunt wanted to be able to stay in her residence which is an independent living cottage within a Covington, KY retirement community. The caregivers First Light provides have made this possible. They have gone above and beyond the Senior Community's expectations and warnings of my Aunt being able to reside in her own place. First Light has reliable staffing! All are experienced and caring CNA's. When any personality clashes have happened (my Aunt wants what she wants, and she never wants to butt heads with anyone) one call to Beth gets the situation rectified with a more suitable caregiver. Beth has been great about this aspect of service the past 3 years; all are content with the situation and job at hand. My Aunt is comfortable in her surroundings and, for the most part, actually loves her caregiving staff. I am so very grateful my Aunt is safe and taken care of to her own expectations. Having Beth and her First Light Caregiver Service is a tremendous relief and gives me great peace of mind knowing my Aunt has caregivers who truly care!
