In Honor of Dorothy Jean
Dorothy Jean Comprehensive Nursing Community, LLC (DJC) was founded in honor of Dorothy Jean Morris, who served for over 35 years as a nurse. We strive to live up to and exceed your expectations whilst aiding the community as she once did.
November 16, 2022, Ms. Dorothy was diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial cancer. On December 21, 2022, she was told she had only 24 days to live, she was placed on hospice that’s when her granddaughters, Jessica McNary and Amanda Petty, RN, intervene. Due to Jessica having over 20 years of medical experience and Amanda, RN experience and working alongside their grandmother in multiple Skilled Care Facilities, Ms. Dorothy knew she was in good hands. She was able to remain in the comfort of her own home, until she transitioned December 30, 2022. They also took care of her friend Mrs. Faye Raisher until she transitioned.
