My father, Fred A., was a cemetery trustee for the town of Enfield NH. It was extremely important to him that the way cemeteries in the town honored families was handled in a professional and beautiful way. His work lent a true definition of what you and I would call "Perpetual Care". His message to the town was: these are YOUR families. Countryside Cemetery was his "baby". He facilitated the purchase of the land for the town. He oversaw the sitework, arranged for an exquisite entrance and gate. He walked the land during the time of it's creation and oversaw the careful selection of tree removal, boundary markings, and worked carefully with the town and the State of NH on protocol for future burials. It is a lovely place, on a gradual slope as you drive in. An access drive winds its way around the cemetery making it easily accessible for those with limited mobility. It is peaceful, and beautifully laid out. And truly, a countryside cemetery. The town honored my Dad by dedicating it to his work with a plaque and flag. So from my Dad to yours, I think you'd be pleased to know your loved one would find a beautiful place to rest.
