I am very satisfied with the care I received from Comfort Keepers. My caregiver Bernie is wonderful and I look forward to her coming each week! Kellie from the office attends doctors appointments with me, and helps me when I get lost! She also helps with the many phone calls to doctors and pharmacies for me which is a huge help! Comfort Keepers is always quick to help with any problems that may arise. Bernie and Kellie are like family to me! I love Comfort Keepers and recommend them to everyone I know!!

Comfort Keepers of Southern Pines was recommended by a knowledgeable health insurance professional whom I know well and respect. Our start was marked by some trial and error experiences with helpers which seem natural to us. But the agency was responsive and moved promptly to offer alternative helpers and a solution was found in short order. Now having had this service for some time it appears that helper turn over is apt to happen after about 12 months. A longer service commitment would be more preferable. Except for a couple of early helper prospects, the assistance with personal care for my wife has been excellent. Acceptance and performance of the usual house keeping role - has required more client guidance but helper response has been satisfactory, some better than others on this aspect. I would suggest that management provide a written bio-summary of the personal qualities and experience of the proposed helper to the client and, in turn, each client have available pertinent information that would be useful to the helper. My wife and I have a sit-down conversation with the helper on the initial day of their service so as to develop some personal rapport and discuss what is needed and expected.

Comfort Keepers of Southern Pines worked to be able to have one care taker assigned to my wife three days a week. She is very nice and treats my wife very well. She also makes suggestions to me so that I can improve my caring time. I am very pleased with the arrangement but it took a little time to get it worked out. I have recommended Comfort Keepers to others based on my experience.

I have found the staff at Comfort Keepers in Southern Pines to be responsive, professional, flexible in their scheduling, and concerned about the person they provide care for, in this case my 101 year old mother who lives in a nearby skilled nursing facility. Their staff who visits my mother have been unfailingly kind and responsive to her needs. They are consistent in the visits and will let me know if any issue prevents them from making their usual scheduled times. The staff has also remained "steady" in that during the five years of service, my mother has had two of her care givers stay for two or more years which helps with consistency and her comfort level with the staff. She looks forward to their visits and remarks on their patience and the respect they show her. The office staff is also very professional and reliable. The bills are received at the same time each month and are detailed in the services provided. They are always available during business hours and have even returned my phone calls on the week-end when I left a message which is unusual in today's technology driven world. I would recommend the Comfort Keepers team to anyone seeking additional help for a loved one.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the staff of Comfort Keepers in Southern Pines! Our 89 year old Mother came to visit for a week. She is a fall risk and cannot bathe herself. With very little notice, Comfort Keepers set up a meeting with a RN to discuss the best way to insure our Mother's safety and care. For 4 days, a caregiver came to our home to help prepare breakfast, bathe and dress our Mother while I ran errands. The staff was caring, friendly and professional.
