Comfort Keepers of Manassas, VA

Awful, awful care. I do not even know where to start because it was rocky from almost beginning to end. They serviced our home from July til end of September and it was issue after issue. Lots of last minute call outs, different caregivers in and out. Not much if any "lite housework" most days. Office staff were pleasant in the beginning and as time went on they were beyond rude. I have luckily saved all messages, texts, emails and voicemails! We had a no call no show, no one notified us a caregiver wouldn't be in, hours later I contacted the office wondering how the heck no one had notified me.They had no answer for me. The main caregiver was to look after and assist with lite house keeping and take the patient to appointments. One day they sent a caregiver with no vehicle. Patient ended up missing his appointment, no notification was given that the caregiver wouldn't have a vehicle. After this worry was expressed they stated no charge for this day, low and behold it was on the invoice. They also split a shift instead of clocking caregiver in at normal time lets say 6 pm they clocked her in at 6am making cost for the shift way over what was due. Furthermore they handled billing separate with another party. They never sent me an invoice then about a month after services ended I got a nasty, extremely rude phone call demanding I pay the invoice. I ended the phone call after reminding him who's responsible since he set it up with that person. After which I received a very nasty text message. The lack of care was sickening!.

Comfort Keepers provided great caregivers for me and my family. Overall the whole staff was great.

I work in health care myself and they really have to have the heart and soul for it and their caregiver does. I am thankful for all they do.

My brother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the age of 57. It was difficult finding competent care for him at such a young age. I hired one health care company that did not meet expectations because their staff failed repeatedly and failed to show up. I called the office at Comfort Keepers Manassas and they supplied staff starting that evening and for the next several months until my brother's health care declined to the point he could no longer stay at home. One caregiver traveled from Fredericksburg to Manassas Park and even to Arlington, VA to help with my brother. Another caregiver took my brother out to parks, farms and did activities with him. Comfort Keepers helped transport my brother to West Virginia to help him settle into his new environment. All the staff at Comfort Keepers were available to work with me, my family and my brother not only during normal working hours but when emergencies hit. They were there when changes in coverage and type of assistance was needed immediately. I cannot speak highly enough of the help and care we received from Comfort Keepers of Manassas!
