My husband had Alzheimer’s and couldn’t be left alone. A short time ago I needed out-patient surgery which turned into a one-night stay in the hospital. Panic set in – I had no one to call to stay overnight with him, so I turned to Angie at Comfort Keepers of Hamilton. More panic no Comfort Keeper help was available. However, Angie didn’t give up – she started making phone calls and wouldn’t stop until she found a great nurse to stay with my husband. My husband is gone now but I will be forever grateful and appreciative of the care Comfort Keepers gave him. They are a wonderful group of people.

Comfort Keepers of Hamilton does everything for me! They call in my medications and pick them up, take me to all my appointments, do all my grocery shopping and keep my house stocked with cleaning supplies and paper products. They clean my house and do all my laundry and assist with hygiene. They take me to their houses for holidays, take me to the park to fly my helicopter and also take me to church! They are my companions! I have gained 40 pounds since they have arrived and I’m never alone!

My Comfort Keeper was a delightful person. The Comfort Keepers of Hamilton’s office was efficient and the care coordinator that first met with me was delightful and efficient. It has been an adjustment to feel you are a senior citizen when you have been as active as I have. It is difficult to think there are situations I cannot take care of on my own. When there are it is comforting to know that Comfort Keepers is there when I need them.

I used Comfort Keepers of Hamilton for five years to stay with my mother, who was in her nineties, for three days a week while I was at my volunteer job. As her condition deteriorated their hours went from four per day to nine. Twice they provided 24 hour respite care over a long weekend. The Comfort Keepers never failed to show up on time, no matter what the weather and they gave my mother excellent care. They gave her meals, medications, bathroom help, dressing help, whatever she needed they did and in the end, the Comfort Keepers ladies helped to support me as I made the decision to place my mother in a nursing home. I’m so grateful they were there and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Comfort Keepers of Hamilton (CK) has been a real blessing for our family. Mom is in her 90's and needs 24 hour personal assistance over and beyond what we could find in an "assisted living" environment. CK provides her with comprehensive day-to-day living services with dependable aides who are able to meet her intellectual and social needs as well. Without CK, mom would have required skilled nursing care which would have deprived her of all the benefits of assisted living.
