Working for Comfort Keepers has been such an amazing experience! The opportunity to help people who really need it is so fulfilling. I've worked here for the past year and I have to say, the office staff is wonderful, the caregivers I've met are so passionate about what they do, and it's really been so great to have a job that has so much meaning.

My father-in-law was recovering from knee surgery and we independently hired a caregiver. It was such a mess. So much negotiation and if she was sick or had car troubles or whatever, my wife had to stay home with her dad to take him to his appointments. Our caregiver found a family willing to pay more and she left us on very short notice. We were scrambling to find someone when we came across Comfort Keepers! The office staff coordinated everything and settled/scheduling disputes and if our caregiver had to take time off or anything, they provided a replacement. It was so good to know that pop was going to always make it to his appointments and physical therapy and everything. If he needs care again, we will absolutely be contacting Comfort Keepers!

My 85-year-old mother recently suffered a broken hip after falling in her bedroom in March of 2017. She was in tremendous pain and we all feared she would never walk again. After surgery and a month of intensive rehab, she was sent home (to my home), still not able to walk. Comfort Keepers came to the rescue! They met us at the rehab facility the day before she was released to get to know her and learn about what her needs would be. They set up caretakers for various shifts "round the clock" to tend to my mother in the wee hours of the night as well as when I am at work. What a comfort it was to know she was being tended to by caring professionals. My mother is extremely sharp mentally and didn't miss a beat in terms of knowing what is going on. You can trust these folks. The Care Coordination team kept in constant contact with us. They were extremely flexible with last minute schedule changes and even offered to take Mom to the doctor for follow up visits during the day when I was at work! Mom made a personal "connection" with several of her caretakers and she liked them all. Each came to our home prepared, courteous and respectful. The rhythm of the house was maintained while mom's needs were being tended to. I'm happy to say that she is now walking again (at least to the bathroom and kitchen) and thus no longer needs Comfort Keepers support. However, I would absolutely use them again. We had an A+ experience from start to finish!
