We specialize in providing personalized non-medical home care. Non-medical care, sometimes referred to as “home care” or “personal care,” includes a wide range of elder care support and in-home assistance by a non-licensed provider. We provide the day-to-day care that your loved one may need instead of or in addition to care by a nurse or other health professional. We service the San Diego area including: Pacific Beach, Clairemont, Mission Beach, Point Loma, University City, Kearny Mesa, Kensington, Bay Park, Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley, Hillcrest, Linda Vista, La Jolla, Mission Valley, and Mission Hills.
ComForCare provides a full range of senior home care services for our clients. Services are available around the clock, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. We can provide same-day home care, transition-of-care, such as transportation home after a discharge, or assist with many other needs that arise when a family member is in crisis. We also provide support to hospitals and care facilities, including staffing hospital sitters if your loved one needs an extra level of attention.
We pay special attention to the condition of the senior, as well as the condition of their living space. We understand that family members and other loved ones often attempt to provide senior care as much as they can. However, this can be overwhelming, especially for those who have busy schedules and families of their own to tend to. We can provide relief with family respite services that take the stress off family members, allowing them to instead focus on the health and well-being of themselves and their aging loved one.
As Directors and local owners, Paresh and Pragna Panchal, and our highly trained staff are ready to talk with you about your needs and answer your questions. Once we understand your situation, we will provide you with elder care options for your loved one, describe our services in detail, and schedule an in-home visit to conduct a thorough needs evaluation. We give families the opportunity to get to know us better during the in-home visit. One of our staff members will evaluate your loved one's needs, as well as those of your family. We will set goals for care, perform fall prevention and home safety checks, and discuss costs and funding options. We will take time to listen to your concerns. Once we have a better understanding of your needs, we will share care options, provide further details, and schedule a home visit to conduct a needs evaluation.
What to Expect?
Our senior personal care services begin with a custom evaluation. A licensed nurse will come to the client’s home and assess the health and unique needs of the senior, as well as the condition of the home. This includes any special considerations regarding the safety of the home and any risks that it may present. Based on this evaluation, the nurse will create a personalized senior care plan to deliver care exactly how seniors and their loved ones need and want it.
To ensure that your loved one is receiving the highest quality of care, we touch base with you or your loved one at the end of the first shift, the first week, the second week, the first month and every month thereafter. We also perform in-home supervisory visits of our caregivers and reassessments of your loved one to ensure their needs are being met and to make adjustments to the care plan as needed.
We want your home care experience to be successful. A key to that success is a warm and trusting relationship between your loved one and their caregiver. We consider everything we have learned about your loved one to assign someone who best matches your loved one’s personality and needs.
At ComForCare Home Care, we understand that these are issues that every senior will eventually face. That’s why we are dedicated to providing the best senior care in the comfort of our clients’ homes. This way, seniors and their loved ones can rest assured knowing that seniors are taken care of in a way that ensures the highest levels of health, well-being, and happiness.
The ComForCare Difference
ComForCare’s commitment to quality care begins with our compassionate and proactive approach to care. This process begins with identifying clients’ and families’ unique needs, creating a patient-centered care plan, coordinating with physicians and other providers, and implementing quality assurance throughout the duration of care. We have a rigorous 10-step screening process for our caregivers, nurse oversight of client care, and ongoing training and evaluation at every level.
At ComForCare, our caregivers are the heart of our company. We take steps to make sure that we hire only the best caregivers so that our clients can rely on empathetic companions that have the competency required to take care of all of their needs. Our hiring process focuses not only on verifying skill, but also on confirming that caregivers are compassionate, kind, and understanding.
We are available 24/7/365 and employ a large staff of caregivers to guarantee uninterrupted service. We provide ongoing training and education for our caregivers so they are knowledgeable in all areas of home care.
Clients can enjoy peace of mind knowing that all ComForCare caregivers are:
• Experienced and highly trained
• Continuously trained to ensure the most cutting edge care techniques are used
• Meticulously screened and tested
• Bonded and insured
• Covered by general liability, professional liability and workers' compensation insurance
• Bound by the Client Bill of Rights
• Directed by the client's personalized care plan
To help develop strong, trusting relationships between clients and caregivers, we carefully match clients with caregivers whose interests, life experiences and personalities complement their own. Before we ever select caregivers, we meet with clients, take note of personality traits, and speak with them about experiences to help us select the most compatible caregiver.
As part of our quality assurance, our nurse will oversee and evaluate the caregiver and care recipient to ensure the best possible situation. If clients wish to make changes at any time, our professionals are always available to accommodate requests and answer questions.
