Citadel Assisted Living

I have had a relative at the Citadel Assisted Living since 2013. It was a wonderful place to be until two years ago. The ownership changed at that time and the services provided have declined, along with the number of staff. The food in the dining room is poor, at times people have had to wait an hour to receive their food, and the dining room staff is inadequate and poorly trained. The Caregiving staff has also been greatly reduced. They work hard to provide the care expected of them and are not always able to do so because of time and lack of numbers. There have been four Directors in the past two years and with each change the rates for care have increased, so each resident is paying more for care which is not up the standards it was when they moved in. It has been disappointing to see the Citadel go from a very good assistant living center to one that has become less than ideal.
