Harold, I am a current client
Wife diagnosed with Alzheimer's while living in Kansas. Wanted to move to Georgia to be near our youngest son.He selected 5 places nearest his home in Alpharetta, Ga. We visited each one and selected Brookdale Buford because there were large 2 br cottages available we could live in until my wife required additional services. It was an easy transition, only about a 500 yard move from the cottage to Memory Care. The staff bent over backwards to insure my wife felt at home in her new suroundings. Now 3 years later, she is in her original room and I have been fortunate to be with her 10 hrs a day, helping the staff when necessary to feed and care for her. I personally observed the 2 person staff( 2 to 16/18 ratio) and know that the staff really cares about the residents. There are no harsh words spoken, and never rough handling during transfers.Food is 1st class. They are always there to assist my wife on her journey.
