When you need help with an aging parent, recovery from surgery, or home medical care, BrightStar Care® in Naperville has the qualified professionals, nurses, and caregivers on staff to meet your needs on an hourly or 24 hour live-in basis. We are available for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with an RN on call to provide the highest level of care and service.

BrightStar Care Standard

• 24/7 Availability – Ready to help when you need it most
• No Minimums – From 1 hour to 24, we’re ready to meet your needs
• Employer of Choice – Professional, experienced, and trained nurses and home health aides with a minimum of 1 year of experience

Industry Standard

• Usually answer phones from 9a–5p weekdays
• Usually a 3–4 hour minimum service agreement or a minimum number of hours per week
• Employees – May not be trained, drug screened, background checked, or competency verified

Living Room Visit

For us, being able to deliver an unmatched level of care starts from our very first meeting – the living room visit. Our clinical approach starts from square one with our specially trained Registered Nurse Director of Nursing. In addition to getting to know you and your family and sharing more about what we do, our RN conducts a comprehensive assessment from which to create a personalized plan of care to meet your loved one’s unique needs and preferences.

• Introduction to the BrightStar Care Experience – Registered Nurse and Care Team Member visit house to get to know you & discuss care needs
• Comprehensive health & wellness evaluation conducted by an RN
• Person-centered plan of care around your personal and health needs
• Full Continuum of Care – Companionship and personal care to skilled nursing for people of all ages

Industry Standard

• Agency introduction often conducted by non-clinician
• Limited evaluation of Activities of Daily Living like bathing, grooming, and transportation
• May not create a unique plan of care
• May only offer companionship care

Getting Started

Our rigorous process for screening and hiring ensures that the nurse or home health aide who comes into your home is highly capable and trustworthy. Every member of our team has at least one year of experience, receives ongoing, condition-specific training and is supervised by a Registered Nurse, so you know that your loved one is receiving the expert care they deserve.

• Guaranteed Compatibility® – BrightStar Care matches a care professional with you based on your preferences and unique plan of care
• Registered Nurse Director of Nursing and selected care professional review plan of care and life history form
• We personally introduce you to your BrightStar Care care professional

Industry Standard
• Home Health Aide may be a subcontractor, and may not:
• Be a direct employee
• Have training or a background in caregiving
• Be covered by insurance – there could be tax and liability ramifications

When we say “every step of the way,” we mean it. We understand that care needs can and do evolve and change. That’s why, in addition to regular visits from your care professional, our team of care experts establishes ongoing checkpoints to monitor your loved one’s progress and makes adjustments to their plan of care to meet them at their point of need.

From my first phone call to BrightStar, everyone has been professional, respectful of Mom’s wishes, and willing to work with us to schedule caregivers during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday on short notice. Denise is my Mom’s live-in caregiver and she is an extraordinary woman, who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and willing to remain with my Mom until the end. BrightStar also cared for my father-in-law a few years ago and helped him in the comfort of his own home. BrightStar has been great about coordinating care for my Mom. They are definitely a 5-star company.

I commend BrightStar of Naperville's staff for the wonderful care that my mom received during our stay in Oak Brook this past weekend. We all loved our caregiver Katie.
