Avalon Gardens Rehabilitation & Health Care Center

I am writing this review for one of my patients. I work at Avalon Gardens Rehabilitation & Health Care Center and like to chat with my patients to see how they are doing, if they have any complaints or issues that need to be dealt with. When I spoke with Bill, he stated that he is very satisfied the way housekeeping is keeping his room clean. He said that his housekeeper Rogie was great and thanked me for asking him questions about his room's condition.

Avalon Gardens Health Care Center is a great facility. Of course their nursing care is great and their therapy services help me a lot. But I especially like the social aspect. I get to play Bingo. I also spend time socializing with staff and other residents. I find everyone to be very friendly and respectful. I am not that crazy about the food. I think it could be improved. Other than that, Avalon pays attention to me. They care about what I need and solve any problems that come up. I also feel safe which is very important. I really recommend Avalon

Recently I was a patient at Avalon Rehabilitation Center in Smithtown. The nursing care I received was very satisfactory. The staff were quite friendly and the nurses and aides were always pleasant and helpful. My therapy was just what I needed and they paid attention to my needs... including any problems that came up. The overall safety at Avalon Gardens is good, as is the laundry service. Unfortunately, the food was not exactly to my liking. Overall, I got the professional care I needed and that was most important to me.

I am at Avalon Gardens Rehabilitation & Health Care Center due to a stroke. I find the nursing care and therapy services to be excellent and very professional. I like doing many of the activities that they provide. Avalon always attends to my individual needs and responds to my problems. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of care and attention that I am receiving.
