Assisting Hands Home Care® grew out of a desire to provide seniors, and others needing non-medical assistance at home, with the option that most people prefer – to remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes. Assisting Hands® is a home care franchise company that emphasizes exceptional customer service and highly personalized in-home care to meet the needs of our clients.

The founder of Assisting Hands Home Care® is Dr. Gail Silverstein, who has more than 25 years of experience coordinating and leading health care programs in both the public and private sector. It was Gail’s understanding of the health care industry, along with the personal experience of trying to find assistance for her father at home, that led her to realize there was a serious gap in services. Out of this need, Assisting Hands® was launched – to provide a better alternative for the elderly, disabled and others needing a little extra support and assistance to stay home!

I contacted Assisting Hands in Zephyrhills to help with the care of my 90-year old Father who lives alone and has been diagnosed with Dementia. From the first phone call and meeting with Marilyn, I knew this was the company I would hire. They are caring and wonderful people to work with. They listen to the needs and concerns of the family and do everything they can to ensure the care provided is top-notch and personalized for each family. My Father is very pleased with his caregiver Anna who is very caring and genuinely concerned for his well-being. Anna is there seven days a weeks to ensure my Dad is well, administer medications, and assists with everyday activities that my Dad needs help with. Knowing that your family is well taken care of provides comfort and peace-of-mind; that is exactly what Assisting Hands has done for me and my family. I would highly recommend Assisting Hands to anyone looking for in-home care of a family member.

Assisting Hands Home Care of Pasco provided us with wonderful service. The owners Mr.& Mrs. Abraham exceeded expectations in their dedication and willingness to help. We found them compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. I called Assisting Hands on Halloween evening. My call was answered immediately by Mr. Abraham. I had to find someone to assist me in caring for my mother who was being released from the hospital later that night! We didn't even know the time she would be arriving. I had previously done extensive research in trying to find a home care agency in the event that I would need help and of the few that had impressed me, none had anyone on such short notice, so I had to begin a new search. Fortunately, that’s when I found Assisting Hands Home Care of Pasco. I was very stressed as the whole thing was last minute and I knew that even though I would be home also caring for my mother, I would need additional assistance. Mr. Abraham put my mind at ease completely, assuring me that he would absolutely be there that night and ongoing, even if he or his wife, who is a nurse, had to be there themselves! He was true to his word. He came and he also had secured a wonderful caregiver who began working that night. They truly listened to our needs and made every effort to accommodate them. We needed help daily; one night when one of the assigned caregivers couldn't make it, Mrs. Abraham herself was kind enough to come. They also offered helpful suggestions and insight. They provided us with proper proof of license and insurance info which is important in choosing home care. I read everything I sign attentively. Their contract & all paperwork were clear, fair and straightforward. The caregivers they sent to us were kind, gentle, personable and experienced. The office staff, especially Marilyn, is also helpful, courteous and accommodating. I'm grateful to Assisting Hands Home Care of Pasco. Based on my exceptionally good experience with them I highly recommend them.
