Home, tucked into their bed, is where everyone wants to be every night. So many do not realize how many people rely on someone else to do something that seems so simple like taking a shower. An unsupervised or unassisted shower for someone who has an impairment is a huge safety risk and could lead to a major injury.
At Assisting Hands® Home Care, we provide clients with essential non-medical services that assist them with their activities of daily living—like showering—and allow them to remain safe and Happy and at Home™, maintaining their quality of life and dignity.
We serve post-illness, post-operative clients in addition to individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia or other diseases such as Parkinson’s that limit one’s ability to take care of themselves.
Our services are not just for “older adults.” We provide care for any client in need of assistance. A 20-something recovering from a serious car accident, a 30-something who was diagnosed with cancer, a 40-something who had surgery to repair an old football injury and a 50- something who had a massive stroke are patients who could benefit from home care services.
