After a fall and trip to the ER, our Mom needed help getting up and around. Amada Senior Care of Nashville came out quickly and set up aides to sit 24/7 as long as required. We evaluated Moms progress every couple of days extending the service as needed. I hope not to need Amada Senior Care in the near future, but find it comforting that they are nearby and available. I gladly recommend Amada to families in need of this type of service with confidence knowing that they perform a fine service at a fair price

Mom can be a little stubborn and the care partner was the best mix of encouragement and "push", my mom responded to her very well. Mom was always happy to see her and that made me very happy. I didn’t know what I was doing at first. Enter Kevin Fehr and Amada Senior Care. We were desperate, needing someone to start the next week. Mother was to be released from a skilled nursing care center on Saturday, and I was to return to work Tuesday. Understanding our anxiety, Kevin from Amada Senior Care of Nashville showed up New Year’s Day to better understand our situation, my mother’s limitations, and how Amada might help with her recovery. I have to say his warm smile and personality won me over right away, but it was his professionalism and knowledge of both the home care and health insurance industries that sealed the deal. Subsequently, I have not had to file a single insurance claim. Amada’s office manager Dawn Paton has kept up with this tedious, thankless task. All I see are routine statements from our long-term care provider, communicating that everything is in order. For anyone who is the primary care giver for elderly parents, the greatest challenge in home care isn’t knowledge or professionalism. It’s chemistry. Inarguably, a caregiver’s greatest assets are compassion, patience, and a listening ear. But Kevin also understands and appreciates the nuances involved in creating that chemistry. It took a couple of tries, but by the end of the week, mother had her perfect match! And two-and-a-half months later, when a medical emergency arose, mother’s caregiver remained calm and was able to handle a very scary situation expeditiously and professionally.

When he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer we went thru a lot of surgeries and rehab centers, the time spent in those facilities was not as pleasant as it was when his disability insurance kicked in and we were given options on who we could hire for in home care. We picked Amada first and were so please with our decision because it could not have been any better for my father. they helped him in so many ways and actually made him feel like he was contributing to the well being of his wife and all of us. This was very important so we did not spend time doing paperwork and could spend time with my father.

Kevin did a detailed evaluation of my Grandma and her home. We were impressed with how at ease we were with him and how he just felt like he fit with our family. It's nice that Grandma gets the same caregivers...We've been with them some time now, and they are just like part of our family. There is a difference between our Amada caregivers and family though... as a family, we at times loose patience. We remember Grandma back in the day and may get frustrated at how things go sometimes. Our caregivers, however, are kind and patient and never loose their cool. This has been a side we did not expect. With our caregivers in place, the family gets some needed break time to rest or regroup, so Grandma is only feeling the love, not the frustration that comes when you need a break for yourself and just can't get it. Amada has been the best decision we have made for Grandma and us!
