I am an employee
For most of the last two years, one of the employees from Alegre Home Care (JD) helped take care of my brother. JD was a wonderful caretaker. She was empathetic and intelligent, sufficiently so to hold up her end of conversations with my brother, who was a research scientist and widely read. My brother was home-bound as a result of his illness, but he loved great cooking, so JD learned to be a gourmet cook...the two of them planned and prepared fabulous meals, many of which I was able to enjoy when I visited him. JD noticed that my brother enjoyed her stories of her adventures in the city, so she kept him amused with stories about events she had attended, friends she interacted with, and other material that provided him with a window into the lives the younger set leads in San Francisco these days. JD brought great joy to my brother during the last years of his life. He recently passed away. The last big smile he gave was to JD when she came to visit him in the ICU. I would recommend highly recommend Alegre Home Care of San Francisco for these reasons.
