A Helping Hand Homecare is greater King County’s premier agency, enriching the lives of seniors in the comfort and familiarity of their own home or wherever they find themselves. Working closely with our clients and their families, we provide truly personalized care that reflects each individual’s needs and wishes.

A Helping Hand is a locally owned, locally staffed company—not a franchise. We’re based in Seattle, Washington, and have been providing outstanding care to seniors throughout the greater King County area for more than 15 years. We provide services to assist seniors at all levels of need from running errands to end-of-life care.

We serve seniors throughout the greater King County area, whether they’re living in their own home, in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, or with family members. We also provide caregivers during hospital stays to make sure your loved one is not alone or lacking for the attention and information they need.

Our Caregivers
Our compassionate professional caregivers are certified nursing assistants and home care aides selected for their caring, skills and experience. They assist individuals and couples with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, cooking, light housekeeping, and shopping, while always providing much-needed companionship and safety.

Many of our caregivers have received advanced training enabling them to provide nurse delegated care in areas such as medication administration, blood glucose monitoring, wound dressing changes, and tube feedings—always under the direction of our Registered Nurses (RNs).

All of our professional caregivers pass a caregiving test and a rigorous orientation. Each year they complete 12 hours of continuing education specifically geared toward the needs of our clients. Our supervisory team of professionals is always available to them and to you to answer questions and provide support.
