Winthrop Health and Rehabilitation

At first my Grandmother was mad at us for her having to go to Winthrop Health and Rehab because she wasn't old enough yet (at 99 years young). After 6 months, she fell in love with being there and with all of the activities and new friends she had made. We were invited to eat with her anytime we liked. The staff always informed me of anything new that was going on; if there was a decrease or increase in medication or if she just needed me to come by. It didn't matter if I went during the day or evening hours, I was always welcomed by the staff . The building smelled clean and was always kept clean. Maintenance did a great job at keeping the floors shining and walls looking freshly painted or clean. This was a well maintained home for her 3 years there.
