Modesto Adult Day Program

My daughter and I came and looked at Modesto Adult Day Program and were very pleased with everything we saw. We first had my husband coming one day a week then gradually increased to three days. He looks forward to coming and interacting with other people that are there. They have activities of different kinds to keep them engaged. They go for walks, do exercises, tell stories and put puzzles together. The caregivers and staff are very compassionate and understanding. I feel that it has helped not only my husband but also me. I can highly recommend the Modesto Adult Day Program facility and their staff and management.

Modesto Adult Day Care has been a true God send to me. The Adult Day Center is a clean, loving environment where my mother can be safe, comfortable, and with her peers. They provide meals and snacks and a plethora of activities for them to participate in all day. The very first time my mother and I visited the The Modesto Adult Day Program, we were greeted with smiles and hugs from the staff. They made my mother feel valued, welcomed, and important. The staff are well trained and highly skilled in how to redirect, inspire and motivate the individuals that they work with. My mother just loves going there. When I come to pick her up she is always glad to see me; however, it takes her a while to say goodbye to her friends because she has had such a good day. She is always asking me to “just drop me off at the other place.” It is very obvious that Russell and his staff love the work that they do. The program participants certainly feel the love. It gives me great peace of mind to know that my mother is being cared for in such a special way when I cannot be with her. The staff really are the best!

Doris is a lovely lady who has had dementia for a number of years and we participate in the Alzheimer Support Group, at The Modesto Adult Day Program two times a week and socialize as much as possible. The last two years she has had to have round the clock care. Doris was first in line when the Adult Day Care Program opened! She is always warmly welcomed with a hug and enjoys her friends at the facility. The activities are creative and stimulating. The partying usually includes great music and dancing! She’s always happy and relaxed when I pick her up. The great thing about the Modesto Adult Day Program, for a caregiver, is we get to take a break from each other. Doris and I would get tired of each other if we didn’t have this wonderful place to go!!
