About McDonald's Chapel
Tucked away in the mountains of eastern Shasta County in the town of Burney is McDonald's Chapel. It was built in the late 1950s by Rudy and Margaret Balma, who owned the McDonald's Chapel in Redding, California, at that time. The new McDonald's Chapel was constructed to serve the Intermountain towns of Burney, Cassel, Fall River Mills, McArthur, Nubieber, Bieber, Lookout, Adin and Old Station and the towns of Montgomery Creek and Round Mountain to the west.
