Mary Adult Family Home

After searching 2 weeks for a home to place my mom, Mary Adult Family Home was the ONE. When I walked into this home, the first thing I noticed were the ladies all cleaned & relaxed in the living room either watching a big screen tv or looking out a nice big front window. There was no foul smell as I've smelled in other homes. One level home & nicely manicured lawns & secured backyard for the ladies to walk around. I was invited to have lunch w/the ladies and the food was served as they all sit together in the table. Keep in mind, I was unannounced. Mom was there almost 4 yrs & in those years birthdays are celebrated w/cake & ice cream. Holidays are decorated within the home. Mary resides in the home so she is pretty much there for emergencies. Should any of her residents be administered to the hospital, Mary will visit them as they do become family to her and she knows how important it is for the residents to see a friendly familiar face as she comforts them at the hospital. Mary goes above & beyond and she ensures that her crew do the same within the home. When the time came when mom didn't recognize me, there was one person sure enough to make her smile & that was Mary. Mary was my heaven sent person to care for my beloved mother. I have nothing but praise for her.
