You will never find a better place than La Casa Assisted Living. The care Robin and Meredith provide is far beyond anyone's expectations. The patients are happy and well cared for. Clean expansive home, beautiful outside. I would never go anywhere else.

Words can not express how much La Casa Assisted Living helped my Mom and my entire family. Her health declined quickly and we had to find a memory care facility fast. The first facility was in the state she resided in. My Mom was not only unhappy, she could barely function. Sleeping all the time and very despondent. We decided to bring her to Maryland where we lived, and found La Casa Assisted Living. It was like coming home. The feel of the place felt a lot like how my home felt when I was growing up, full of love and kindness. The staff, along with the medical professionals they have relationships with, completely changed my Mom. She became alert, responsive and most importantly she felt safe and content. After 5 years at La Casa Assisted Living, my Mom passed peacefully. The only thing I miss as much as my Mom is the owner and the staff at La Casa Assisted Living. Lucky for me I can still visit them and will always consider them part of my family. There was no better place for my Mom. I thought those years with my Mom would be lost due to illness, instead La Casa Assisted Living helped me find ways to spend quality time with Mom until the very last day.

We can't thank the staff of La Casa Assisted Living enough for the care they gave our father. He was a patient there for 16 months and the care and kindness they showed him was great. La Casa keeps the patients involved in life. They have parties for the different holidays which include costumes and games. Families are always made to feel welcome when they visit and are able to have their questions answered. We knew as a family that our father was being well looked after and that he was safe. Thank you La Casa, from all of our family, we will miss you all.

My mom was at La Casa Assisted living and received wonderful care. Great medical oversight and a small family like atmosphere. I would highly recommend La Casa to anyone looking for a great facility.

The entry fee for La Casa is much higher than other facilities. If you are not satisfied with the care and remove your loved one their contract requires you to pay for the month’s care after the removal, also not done by other facilities. There are no towels other than paper towels in the bathrooms and no cups to rinse your mouth after brushing teeth. The facility doctor gives them a waiver so they may restrain residents with bars on the beds and tying residents into wheel chairs or chairs. The state of Maryland does not allow restraints.
