Howell Care Center provides skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services in a kind and encouraging environment. Howell Care Center has accommodations for 149 residents and provides treatment to individuals who are recovering from surgery or illness, who require concentrated rehabilitation, who need continuous nursing care, or who just need a short-term respite stay. We are one of the few skilled health care facilities in the area to offer a specialized ventilator care program.
Our Pulmonary Care Program is under the direction of our Medical Director along with the attending Internal Medicine Doctor. The program’s team includes our registered dietician, certified wound care nurse, respiratory therapists, ventilator certified nursing staff, activity therapist, social worker, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and consulting psychologist and psychiatrist.
