In 1954, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens was established in Goodlettsville, Tenn., nestled within the northern border of Nashville. In 1968, Forest Lawn Funeral Home was established on the grounds of our Memorial Gardens. The combination of a funeral home and cemetery at the same location is convenient for many families.
Occupying approximately 55 acres, our well-kept cemetery features flush to the ground memorials, gentle hills, flowering trees, a pond with a fountain, exclusive private estates, garden mausoleums and our newest addition: Commonwealth Estates Garden of Prayer, which offers upright monuments and benches. We can also provide exclusive private family estates that can be built and designed to meet your own unique specifications. Forest Lawn provides a quiet place to honor the memory of your loved ones.
We are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Dignity Memorial providers offer exclusive benefits, including National Transferability of Prearranged Services, the Bereavement Travel Program, the 24-Hour Compassion Helpline® and access to an acclaimed grief management library. As North America's premier provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services, the Dignity Memorial brand is your assurance of quality, value, caring service and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Forest Lawn is a founding member of our local Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce.
