There’s a new option for families who want to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for an older loved one who needs support during the day! Our Adult Community uses Montessori methods to promote independence, encourage learning, and create programs along with our participants. Our staff is the first to be trained by the Association Montessori International in the newest program offered: Montessori for Aging and Dementia.
Everything we do takes into consideration what the participants enjoy and takes advantage of all the skills they have. Lunch and snack planning and preparation, music, dance, singing, exercise, discussion groups, craft projects, special events, tournaments and games, trips into the community, gardening and plant propagation are all possible during the day. We have a 6-acre campus with a greenhouse, garden and deck.
Located one block from the St. Charles Family YMCA and next door to Shady Springs Park, Campbell Montessori Adult Community is ideally situated for both indoor and outdoor activities.
We are now interviewing potential applicants and plan to open September 6 after the Labor Day weekend.
