Brookdale Middleton Stonefield

I placed my spouse at Brookfield over a year ago. That is always a difficult decision accompanied by many questions and considerable anxiety. Now, with my considerable experience, I know I made the correct choice. The atmosphere they have created is warm and accepting, the senior staff quite remarkable and dedicated, while the day to day staff do a remarkable job under trying circumstances. No place is perfect but I have talked with many loved ones of the other residents. The consensus is that we are grateful to have this facility for our loved ones. Dementia is a terrible disease and it takes a family to to do the best for the residents. Brookdale has created that family feel.

My husband has been living at Brookdale Middleton Stonefield for a little over a year and I couldn't be happier with the care he is receiving. The caregivers are top notch and absolutely do care about the residents. I toured a lot of west Madison/Middleton Alzheimer's and dementia homes and chose this after a doctor recommendation, a friend's recommendation (her mom has lived there for a number of years), and because it just felt right. Like a home. It's not fancy, but it is amazing.
