As a home health nurse who goes into just about every community in the Fort Myers/North Fort Myers area I believe this is one of the very best facilities. The cost is reasonable, locally owned, family environment with very good security and accountability. Every meal is cooked on site by the staff, the residents are very social and have verbalized that they like the care and individualized attention received. There appears to be a very low turnover of staff with very good care to include early interventions to prevent falls, decline in mobility, break down of skin integrity related to incontinence and hospitalizations. The staff utilizes in house physicians, hospice programs like PACE and skilled home health to provide one to one nursing/therapies according to medicare guidelines. The bottom line for me is that I would not hesitate to place a member of my family at this facility, I know that they would be treated the way I would treat my family.
