Choosing a funeral home is a decision based on a family's feelings of confidence earned through years of dedicated service to the community. Since 1956, Andrett Funeral Home has provided compassionate service to families during their time of loss and bereavement with a flexibility that allows each family to choose the arrangements that best fit their own personal needs.
We're proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Dignity Memorial providers offer exclusive benefits, including National Transferability of Prearranged Services, the Bereavement Travel Program, the 24-Hour Compassion Helpline® and access to an acclaimed grief management library. As North America's largest provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services, the Dignity Memorial brand is your assurance of quality, value, caring service and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Much of the confidence and trust we receive from the families we have served for multiple generations is based on our attention to the 'little' details, including 24-hour emergency service, private areas to confer comfortably, a wide selection of caskets and coffins for funeral and cremation purposes, a complete line of burial vaults, monument choices and inscription services, and floral offerings. We are also well acquainted with veteran and Social Security benefits, livery rental, visitation, and church and cemetery guidelines. We are also pleased to assist with any out-of-town arrangements.
Our three chapels, appointed in Queen Anne design, provide the charm and grace of a quiet living room environment which can be easily reconfigured to theater-style seating. Located on Second Avenue between 20th and 21st streets in Manhattan, Andrett is easily accessible by public transportation. If you prefer to drive, two conveniently-located parking garages are located on 21st street (between 1st and 2nd Avenues) and 19th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues). Removing barriers and creating accessibility for those with physical impairments has been of prime importance to us; our main entrance on Second Avenue and our passenger elevator have been designed to acknowledge the concerns of people with limited mobility.
Whether your need for our services is immediate or part of planning for the future, we will gently guide you through each step of the process. Our sensitivity and expertise will help make a difficult time a little more bearable.
