Member Comment Policy is here to help caregivers face the challenge of providing care for an elderly loved one. We do this by providing caregivers with a comfortable meeting place for the free exchange of ideas with knowledgeable professionals, responsive experts and, most importantly, with caregivers just like you.

On specific areas of, members are encouraged to submit comments, ask questions, or submit other content. All content posted on is the responsibility of the party posting such content. We do not prescreen user content. Please understand that we do not control—and do not necessarily endorse—any user content. Participation on this site by a member does not imply endorsement of any other party's content, products or services. is a place for caregivers to support caregivers.

To maintain a respectful dialogue, we've posted the following guideline summary for our members who post content. Further information can be found in our Terms of Use.


BE RELEVANT. All viewpoints are welcome, but all comments should remain relevant to eldercare, related issues, and caregiver support. When answering a question, please stay on topic.

BE RESPECTFUL. Personal attacks and aggressive behavior are prohibited; don't harass or bully others. Please avoid the use of profanity when possible and be respectful of others' sensitivities. Instigating arguments in a disrespectful way is also prohibited. Don't discuss controversial topics—such as religion or politics—that might anger other caregivers. Please keep it friendly and helpful!

BE TRUTHFUL. Spreading misleading or false information is prohibited. Please report any instances where you think a user may be spreading erroneous information.

NO HATE SPEECH. Do not post comments that promote hatred or violence towards groups of people based on their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status or sexual orientation/gender identity.

NO SPAM. Prohibited postings include unwanted promotional or commercial content aggressively promoting services or products and unwanted or mass solicitation. Repeated posting of identical or very similar content in a counter-productive manner is also prohibited. Do not promote your business, website, email address or other contact information. We will remove posts that include self-promotions.

For your personal safety, prohibits the sharing of your email address, phone number, address, or full name in the community forum. Our staff will remove any personal information posted.

We retain the right to determine which comments violate this Member Comment Policy and shall have, in its sole discretion, the right to edit, refuse or remove any member comments and content from the site.
