Please share your family's experience with The Neptune Society.

Parent wants basic cremation services with remains turned over to family for scattering and was told The Neptune Society is the way to go. Our impression over the years is that their reputation isn't so good. Did a quick search and am reading about high pressure sales tactics and hefty fees to change the location of cremation if the person moves. Would appreciate hearing your personal experience with Neptune as well as other questions to ask when trying to pre-plan cremation. Thanks everyone.

My parents both have The Neptune Society. Dad died in 2005 and 1 call and he was picked up. We ordered a dozen death certificates at their suggestion (good idea), picked out a lovely urn and were very pleased with everything.
