I'm new to this caregiver group. My Mother has Alzheimer's and I could use some help.With bathroom issues.

First of all has she seen her dr. and has she been cleared of any infection? Next what kind of medications is she taking? Be sure you take her to the bathroom on a routine basis even if she says she doesn't have to go. My husband was on a couple of medications and as soon as I took him off of them with the dr. permission he was less confused and his bathroom issues improved. Above all, remember and practice patience, which is very hard when you are dealing with these issues
