Reclaiming the house...

My sister and nephews came to stay with us during Easter and left really early yesterday morning (flight was at 7am). While I'm sad that they have left, but happy to get the house back. My nephews are 6 and 8 and were starting to get really whiny and starting to argue more. I think it was 8 days of being perpetually on the go, doing a lot of things and no structure. I'm enjoying the quiet but the quiet is a little scary. My two Labs seem to be taking this hard. Even though my Labs were not raised around kids, they loved the boys. They loved the extra kisses and cuddles and the 7 year old Lab loved playing with them. The 13 year old dog loved the extra kisses.
