Paxlovid not as safe as you think

If you are on heart medications or statins and other meds you may want to reconsider taking Paxlovid because it can have harmful side effects if taken with Paxlovid. Just a heads up.

The Mayo clinic told DH not to take Paxlovid or any of the monoclonal antibody treatments available to some people. He's immuno compromised so both of these treatments can be dangerous to him. Which is another thing nobody talks about in their blind trust in experimental treatments these days. Sad but true.

Yeah but when people mentioned paxlovid here no one mentioned warnings about medication interactions so i wanted to mention it since not all doctors do their due diligence.

When our doc prescribed Paxlovid, he told DH which meds to stop. I guess that's a benefit of having a PCP who knows what meds you take.
