I am new here and want to tell you about another support resource, which some of you may not be familiar with.
I am a member of the Well Souse Assoc which was recommended by AARP. They have phone groups as well as online support. They host respite weekends and an annual conference. A newsletter is also available. There is a nominal membership fee of $30/year, but may be waived depending on one's financial situation.
It is only for members who care for a spouse, not any other relative. Taking care of a spouse can be unique. I encourage you to check them out.
