Mom's out of SNF on Friday. She actually has changed.

I only hope it lasts, and she insists it will but she has taken her medications regularly - been changed to a couple of new ones, is walking, standing, and her outlook has totally changed.

Wish me luck because I'm not going down that road again, the road of "total enabler." This has taught me a lot.

I also reminded her that I am not available for care. She will have to hire a caregiver or go back to the hospital, or what. I don't know, but don't look at me. I will be there for the right reasons, not the wrong ones anymore.
