My father showed up at his Dr. appointment about 2 months ago and the office sent him to the hospital, he was covered all up and back with feces
He went to the hospital. I visited him once they sent him home
He fell 3x and he went back to the hospital and then after that he went to rehab.
Rehab called me a few times they said he is belligerent, mean angry and condescending
He was "released" today. They called today and said you father was adamant I don't call you, but I thought you should know… blahblahblah!
All of these people call me like I am the go-to and I don't care anymore. He called today, and I said call me if you need basic things if not don't call me
I hope they respected his request.

Find Care & Housing
They were reluctant to release him to a filthy house but I told them I had cleaners in (I know duh me-plus I paid for it) but he will just mess it up again.

I'll call APS again and let them know he's home

A nursing place was assigned to contact him but they contacted me, I told them to call him directly and gave his number

You tell these people to lose your phone#. You have no POA and you have stepped away. Whatever happens with Dad is their responsibility. Just know that when you release him its an "unsafe discharge". There is no one to care for him. His house is not safe.

Hi again, Mary. I am sorry things are so the same. I am glad you are sticking to your guns and letting everyone know that you aren't the "go to".
I am afraid your Dad is winding down to what will likely be his end. You are going to have to play Frank Sinatra's rendition of "My Way" at the services. That's certainly how he's handling it all.

Good for you Mary! I'm so glad you put your boundaries down and are sticking to them. Keep having those good days. 🥰

"I wish they respected his request" not to call me it would have been better

I am pretty no contact at this point, yesterday I never heard from him or his care place

it was one of the best days I have had in a long time.
