I did a "fast appeal" through insurance to stop the hospital from discharging my son from the hospital. It worked.

My son was in the hospital for brain surgery. We waited 10 days and INS denied accute rehab and started to send him home. I couldn't even transfer him.
So I called INS and told them I wanted an appeal.
In less that 24hrs they had him approved and transferred.
I feel bad for those that don't have anyone to fight for them.
Be the best advocate you can be!!

J. Welcome to the Forum. I hope you will update us on how the surgery goes. Congratulations on winning your appeal. Seems we so seldom hear of any success out there on appealing things. So glad for you.
