Yesterday we were watching one of the animal vet programs on TV and they were working on some dogs that had various injuries. A couple of hours later I saw my wife carrying my laptop around, heading for the front door. "Where are you going with my computer?" Her response was "I'm taking it outside to the vet --- it's leg is hurt". Not wanting to create another 'scene', I went to the bathroom and came back with a bandaid and stuck it on my computer. All was well. If I couldn't find a little humor in all this stuff, I'd go nuts too.
Btw, I just hired an elder care attorney that specializes in Medicaid to get started with the process. I hope its not too early, but I can't see myself going through this alone.
