What does it mean, if anything, when someone who has Dementia 'talks while they're sleeping,' with panic and sometimes shakiness too? She also seems to repeat the Same phrases over and over again, until the Next time. And then a different phrase will be repeated. Some of these phrases are, I think, religious. For example, "for our bread." At another time, she will begin to repeat very often, "God help me." And because she has been a very religious woman her entire life, I was wondering if anything more spiritual is going on here?! I don't know in what stage her Dementia is now, but she is also Diabetic and her glucose has been up as of lately because of her nervousness and her own stress/anxiety. She already takes some Xanix which obviously isn't really helping. I don't know, just guessing here, but I was wondering if, 'because' of 'what' she's saying in her sleep, if 'maybe' once again, that something More isn't going on here on a spiritual level. (i.e. close to the end?) Anyway, tks for any input. I'm just trying to support and to help a friend and maybe offer some
knowledge about this... and, I don't know what is going on here myself in order to do that. tks again.
He was diagnosed 6 years ago and it seems to be progressing rapidly the last few months . This talking is frightening.
She needs to feel secure in her faith, to be reminded or reassured, perhaps? xo
