And another great start of the day..mother takes the honey for her tea then licks her fingers and those spit fingers..

Give Mum he own bottle of honey, then make sure you wipe her hands before she leaves the table.
Just like I do with my grandson.

I do honestly feel for you.
To shift the perspective, would it help to think of honey as bee-puke? Or perhaps not really - !
There are worse contaminations available.
Could you keep a packet of wet wipes on the table for her to get the sticky off?
