As an addiction counselor, those two words sound like a confession to me; and a cry for help. Are you tipping the bottle to cope with the endless stress of caregiving? If not, forgive me. If so, keep in mind that alcohol is considered a gateway drug that can lead to other -- and much worse -- means of escape from the daily drudgery. Substance use escalates, and you're better off facing your problems rather than masking or ignoring them in the hopes they go away. They won't. Not this way.
