I am currently taking care of my grandmother who is in the end stage of Alzheimer's. Can I recieve college credit toward being a Licensed Vocational Nurse for the care I provide?

ostomy, catheter, woundcare, daily hygeine- i am doing this solo and am hoping to enter an lvn program. would i be able to use this expierence?

I don't know enough about the college thing, but it sure will be valuable experience someday won't it? Good for you in stepping up to the plate with grandma. Nothing like, hands on experience.

You can take CLEP exam through the college for credit gained through life experience. I'm not sure exactly what they test for though.
