Hi onneil,

The most common form of cervical cancer starts with pre-cancerous cells. You can prevent the pre-cancerous cells that cause cervical cancer by practicing safe intercourse.

It is also important to get regular pap-smears to detect any pre-cancerous cells early on and remove them.
