Find Care & Housing
Check with your Area Office on Aging, Alzheimer's Association or support group. There may be community (or religious/spiritual) organizations that offer low-cost or no-cost respite care. Also check to see if there is an adult day center in your area. Consider bartering with a neighbor/friend ~ perhaps your son/daughter can rake their leaves in exchange for them coming over to give you an hour (or an afternoon) away from caregiving. Last, there are agencies that you can hire to provide respite care. Best of luck and warm hugs ~ p.
