After being a full time caregiver to my mother in law for 8 years she has moved into a care home with her daughter living nearby. After 6 months Daughter now wants to move but is reluctant to be involved with her care. We need to discuss this with two daughters & son as I am unable to take on the full time care again but am unsure how to do it. Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Find Care & Housing
thank you barbara, She is 75. We are looking into our options. At the moment she is in a secure area but we feel that she is not high care, though her daughters don't feel the same, which maybe because they haven't been involved with her for a long time & didn't realised what exactly was needed to care for her from day to day. So I thought that having a family talk might help but these things don't seem to go smoothly.

Hi daughtercarer! It is nice to hear that you are very much concerned with your MIL. How old is she by the way? Maybe you can look for a care facility near your place? So that she is still under supervision 24/7 and you can visit her once in a while? =)
