Does anyone have experience with OBS (organic brain syndrome)?

The doctor has recently diagnosed my 78 year old mother with OBS (organic brain syndrome). I have never heard of this. She does NOT have Alzheimers or dementia.

I thought organic brain syndrome was kinda a general term for all progressive dementias caused by disease, like alz.,lewy bodie, maybe somone with more info can weigh in.
