How do you "force" a liquid antibiotic down your 87 year old Mom's throat?!

If you could mix it in ice cream or something she likes she may take it - though make sure, if you use ice cream, that it isn't an antibiotic that can't be used with dairy. Your pharmacist would be a big help with this question.
