90's and I live downstairs in the same apartment complex and I am the only one who provides support for her (from taking her for groceries to running upstairs when she calls me because she has fallen). I have know this lady for several years and I am one of the only people that she trusts. She has no family (that helps anyway) so I am the only one that she has to turn to. I love helping her in anyway that I can but I'd like to know if there are any programs I would qualify for that would provide me some monetary compensation. Thank you.
That is so nice of you to take care of your friend. Call your local Area agency on Aging to see if there are any programs in your area that will provide you with financial compensation.
